Here's a quick Perl script which will dump out the settings in your Vesta configuration file in a sorted order. This uses vgetconfig and therefore gives you the aggregate effect of all settings from any included configuration files with the last seen value for any repeated settings. (In other words, it prints only the exact settings the Vesta tools will use.)

@sections = `vgetconfig -s | sort`;
foreach $sect (@sections)
  {
    chomp $sect;
    print("[", $sect, "]\n");
    @vars = `vgetconfig -s '$sect' | sort`;
    foreach $var (@vars)
      {
        chomp $var;
        print($var, " = ", `vgetconfig '$sect' '$var'`);
      }
  }

You can also download it: dump-vesta-config.pl

This can be useful if you want to compare two different configurations to see what's different.
